TALLOW is having a moment, but if this ingredient seems a tad strange to slather on your skin, just know that it has been used for millenia (our ancestors were pretty savvy when it came to kitchen medicine). There’s a reason for the resurgence - recent scientific studies have shown that it is highly biocompatible with human skin, which means it is readily absorbed, effectively delivering the benefits of our pure plant oils directly to the bloodstream. Tallow is also packed with essential vitamins and free fatty acids, which can lead to deeper nourishment and regeneration of the skin at a cellular level. In addition to tallow, our formula has the added benefits of JOJOBA, which has proven anti-inflammatory effects and contains a high content of wax esters to improve damage to the skin barrier, along with superfoods PRICKLY PEAR and POMEGRANATE - both of which fight free radical damage through their antioxidative activity and anti-microbial properties.
